Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos recently visited Hyderabad and spent time with the stars of RRR. Pictures of Ted Sarandos alongside Ram Charan and Jr NTR have been circulating on social media, showing him smiling as he interacts with the RRR actors. While Ted was recently in Mumbai for The Archies premiere, the purpose of his visit to Hyderabad remains undisclosed. What’s evident is that he experienced Hyderabadi hospitality during his stay.

Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos flew down to Hyderabad

Ram Charan was the first celebrity to greet Ted upon his arrival in Hyderabad last Thursday. Not only did the actor welcome him at the airport, but they also had a chat at Ram’s residence. Additionally, Chiranjeevi, along with Ram’s cousins Sai Dharam Tej and Vaisshnav Tej, met Ted and took selfies before his departure.

Jr NTR played host to a delightful lunch for Ted Sarandos and his team. Sharing a glimpse of their time together on Friday, Jr NTR expressed how much he enjoyed their conversation and the shared love for movies and food. Director Koratala Siva, working with Jr NTR in the film Devara, and his brother, actor Kalyanram, also joined the gathering.

Ted’s meeting with the actors doesn’t come as a surprise to fans, given the tremendous success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR on the Netflix platform. The three-hour historical epic, narrating a fictional tale of freedom fighters Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem, became the most talked-about film of 2022. After its digital release on Netflix worldwide, the movie performed exceptionally well at the box office and secured a place in the top 10 lists of 65 countries for several weeks. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ even won both a Golden Globe and an Oscar. Many are now curious if there’s a potential collaboration in the works between the RRR stars and Netflix.
