Animal song Arjan Vailly Becomes superhit this year 2023

Arjan Vailly is inspired by Dhadi-Vaar music, rooted in the Sikh tradition and renowned as a rallying cry for bravery among soldiers. This musical style is believed to have originated during the time of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru, aiming to uplift morale during the conflict with the Mughals.

Today, someone who fearlessly confronts numerous adversaries alone, who wields weapons to correct injustices, or who steadfastly supports the oppressed is referred to as Arjan Vailly.

Legend has it that Arjan Vailly, also known as Arjan Singh Nalva, was the fourth son of Hari Singh Nalva, the Commander-in-Chief of the Sikh Khalsa Fauj. Hari Singh achieved renown by single-handedly defeating a tiger with only a dagger, earning the title of ‘Bagh Maar’. He fought against the Mughals in the 18th century. Upon his demise, Arjan Singh assumed his father’s mantle and protected the Sikh states from British forces.

The term ‘Vailly’ describes an individual unafraid to defy the law in the pursuit of fervently combating injustice.

According to another tale, the song narrates a confrontation between Arjan Vailly and his two companions against a faction from Pandori village during the Roshani festival in Ludhiana’s Jagraon town, an annual event held in February. Despite being outnumbered, Vailly prevailed using his expertise with the gandaasi (axe) against the larger Pandori group.
