Pinkvilla reported a petition filed at the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court, taking aim at celebrities endorsing tobacco in advertisements.
Deputy Solicitor General SB Pandey informed the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad Court about the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) issuing notices to actors Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ajay Devgn for their connections with tobacco companies on October 20.
