Disney+ Hotstar, a leading OTT platform, unveiled a string of new series this year, including ‘Jhansi Season 2,’ ‘Dead Pixels,’ ‘Save The Tigers,’ ‘Shaitan,’ ‘Dayaa,’ and ‘Athidhi,’ and now introduces another intriguing addition titled ‘Vadhuvu.’ The series, starring Avika Gor, Nandu, and Ali Reza in pivotal roles, is produced by Srikanth Mohta and Mahendra Soni under the SVF banner and directed by Poluru Krishna.

Set to stream from December 8, the team unveiled insights about ‘Vadhuvu‘ during a pre-release press meet in Hyderabad. Actor Nandu expressed excitement for this series, stating its superiority over prior works, highlighting the complexities within families and promising an even grander canvas for the upcoming seasons. He also hinted at forthcoming collaborations with Hotstar and Avika Gor.

Ali Reza, sharing his experience, praised the preparedness and atmosphere on the set, anticipating ‘Vadhuvu’ to be a definite success. Director Poluru Krishna emphasized the adaptation process from the Bengali series ‘Indu,’ promising a narrative tailored to suit the local sensibilities, especially focusing on Avika’s journey post-marriage.

Actress Roopa conveyed gratitude for the opportunity and her character’s depth, promising a series filled with suspicion and gripping scenes. Editor Anil Kumar discussed his editing process, aligning it with the characters’ moods and behavior for a compelling storytelling pace.

Music director Sriram Madduri expressed gratitude for the chance to work on the series, crediting the team’s talent for inspiring his music creation, hoping the audience would love ‘Vadhuvu‘ upon its release on December 8th.
